Progressively responsible professional architectural, engineering, or project management experience which involved responsibility for developing the capital improvement plans and budget for an agency; serving in a liaison capacity between management officials of the agency and officials of architectural firms and construction companies; reviewing and/or modifying designs, layouts, plans and specifications for the construction, alteration and repair of buildings and structures; and inspecting of buildings and structures for workmanship and compliance with the provisions of building and zoning codes and ordinances, and according to approved plans and specifications. Summary of Duties The Capital Improvement Project Coordinator is responsible for the overall control and coordination of all Judiciary capital improvement projects proposed to and authorized by the Legislature; reviews proposed rental and lease agreements for all Judiciary facilities statewide and activities concerned with the maintenance, repair, alteration and improvement of statewide Judiciary buildings; initiates and monitors the procurement and execution of contracts for all facility leases, alterations and capital improvement projects; and performs other duties as required.
