House Buyers of America is looking for a Purchasing Manager who will be responsible for bidding, managing and negotiating all contracts for our home renovations. We buy, renovate, and resell a high volume of homes offering a guaranteed, fast, and hassle-free sale to people who want to sell their house without paying a Realtor commission.
Responsibilities: Functioning as part of a small to medium-sized design department, the position will both manage and take a variety of large and small projects in the industrial, commercial, non-profit, educational, recreational, retail, religious, and healthcare buildings from conceptual design through final design and detailing. Collaborate with internal colleagues such as our Director of Design, Architectural and Civil Designers, Business Development professionals, Estimators, Project Managers, Site Superintendents, and Crew Leaders.

Maintains the appropriate atmosphere of the restaurant by making sure music is at proper volume, all televisions are tuned to the correct channel, controlling the temperature for guest comfort, and ensuring all lighting is at the appropriate levels. Ensures all FOH checklists, both opening and closing, are completed, and signed off on by staff and management; makes sure all checklists are filed in the office at the end of each day.
Support Training and Development Execution: Assign training plans, review LMS reports to ensure timely completion of required learning, and partner with leaders to identify skill gaps and cross training opportunities across the store. Work with Talent Acquisition partners to post openings, welcome candidates, coordinate interviews, support job offer steps, background processes where applicable, I-9 validation, and administration of internal mobility and interim assignment processes.
