Responsibilities include helping to sanitize and turn over rooms between patients, taking phone calls, helping with traffic flow into/out of the locked unit, providing wayfinding directions to all visitors or outside team members to the unit (lab, radiology, patient transport, nutrition services, environmental services), paging overhead and calling support when directed by clinical staff, assisting with discharge, admit, and transfer charting within EPIC, ordering supplies, ensuring rooms are appropriately stocked, answering call lights for any non-direct patient care needs, etc. From workshops that develop cultural intelligence, to our inclusion resource groups for people to find community and empowerment at work, we are dedicated to ongoing resources that advance our values of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all that we do.
