The Substance Use Disorder Technician provides direct and supportive care to clients/patients by monitoring day-to-day activities, observing and documenting behavior, assisting with vital signs and health monitoring, intervening in crises and communicating with the treatment team, facilitating group and structured activities, and transporting clients as needed.
