p>What You Bring: • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required; Master's degree preferred • Minimum of 10 years of progressive engineering experience required; previous project or team management experience preferred • Professional Engineer (PE) license required • Expert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply best practices and demonstrated technical proficiency • Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) as well as Microsoft Office • Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws • Strategic thinker with a proven ability to guide and motivate team activity and resolve issues with urgency • An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups • Experience with project budgeting preferred; basic understanding of accounting processes • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred.
What Youll Do:
• Organize, direct, and coordinate activities related to highway, roadway, and rail infrastructure projects-from initial assessment through planning and design • Collaborate with Highway & Rail team leadership to manage and motivate a high-performing group of technical professionals, ensuring excellence in project delivery and achieving team utilization goals • Effectively manage project budgets, scope, and schedules to deliver successful outcomes for critical transportation initiatives • Engage with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded throughout each phase.
