Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:00 - 06:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ICU with cardiac experience required License: Active state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Skills; Interpretation of dysrhythmias; Management of dysrhythmias; Obtain 12 lead EKG; Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention experience; Chronic/Acute Renal failure experience; IV therapy experience, including accessing ports, arterial line management, and central line care; Continuous IV sedation and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips experience; CVA/Acute Stroke management experience; Respiratory/Thoracic skills, including management of BiPAP, CPAP, ventilated patients, and interpretation of ABGs. The team will partake in handling diverse patient diagnoses such as chest pain, CHF, AFib, NSTEMI, and post-cardiac interventions.
