Paradise Valley Community College (PVCC) is seeking a Student Services Specialist, Sr. in the Financial Aid Office who performs technically demanding financial aid processing and student service duties, responds to complex problems and inquiries, assist with the administration of specific financial aid programs, coordinates financial aid projects, events/activities, and assists with student activities that help promote student enrollment, persistence, retention, and completion. Reviews financial aid applications for accuracy and completeness; processes financial aid applications - including verification, determination of need, disbursement of financial aid, awarding of funds (according to established regulations), as well as editing of previous awards; monitor continued eligibility; processes various reports required to perform core job duties, reviews and make decisions on student aid appeals; reviews and make decisions on professional judgement appeals.
