Operator - 2623 JHL Constructors IncOperator - 2623Englewood, COOperate equipment in a safe and productive manner • Coordination with foreman and site superintendent on daily tasks and production goals • Safety of all site personnel; operators must be aware of their surroundings • Treating equipment with care and avoiding damage to equipment as well as damage to existing conditions and new site improvements • Daily sketch tickets and being aware of existing utilities both underground and overhead • Working around existing utilities in a safe manner • Safely working with other equipment operators on project specific tasks • Equipment care and maintenance; daily equipment walkarounds and coordinating any maintenance with foreman or superintendent • Must understand and utilize lockout tagout procedures • Must wear PPE and always maintain wearing PPE; hardhat safety glasses, vest, closed toe boots when exiting machinery • Unloading material deliveries in a safe manner without damaging the material delivered • Proper rigging techniques and rigging inspection; if new rigging is needed, notify foreman & superintendent immediately and remove faulty rigging from project • Use of trench boxes and understanding trench safety. • Valid Driver License - this position may be required to drive on company time • High school diploma or GED preferred • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience operating either a loader or excavator • Experience using trench safety & shoring • Experience in laying utilities; water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer.
