Two to five years of general maintenance experience, including minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience. | Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner and communicate work order status via designated business process. Performs installation and preventative maintenance of commercial refrigeration, including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air handlers, and pumps. Maintains, repairs and installs plumbing systems for city facilities to include toilets, urinals, faucets, drinking fountains, shut-off valves, etc. Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit for long periods of time, is required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb steps/stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; smell; manage stress as it relates to essential job functions. This role includes working with contractors/suppliers including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, janitorial, pest control, roofing suppliers, housekeeping, safety (to include building and emergency preparations), and physical security. p>Essential Functions: - Assist Property Manager and Facilities Manager as needed including building inspections, procuring bids, managing vendors, building operations, and projects.
- Working knowledge of operation for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, locks and keys, drive up equipment, vault doors, time locks, and bank security equipment.
li>Managerial: Semi-Complex - Work requires functioning as a lead worker performing essentially the same work as those directed, and includes overseeing work quality, training, instructing, and scheduling work. Formal Education/Knowledge: Work requires knowledge of a specific vocational, administrative, or technical nature that may be obtained with six-months/one year of advanced study or training past the high school equivalency.
