p>Responsible for performing troubleshooting and repair efforts on commercial grade heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems or construction inspections and oversight in all City buildings constructed and/or maintained by Facilities Management. Maintains and repairs ALL building systems and components within the City of Garland, including but not limited to: Repair/replace/inspect Commercial HVAC systems.
Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Performs trades work, such as carpentry or painting, in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures.
