Unlike traditional construction project management focused primarily on general contractors, this role is centered around direct-to-owner relationships, repeat business, responsiveness, and becoming a trusted partner for ongoing facility needs. You will spend the majority of your time growing accounts, uncovering opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer experiences, while also overseeing projects from proposal through completion. This is a 70% facility services / business development role and 30% project management role. Key - Facility & Equipment Management. Direct the operation of physical facility functions, including equipment installations, plant layouts, and service functions. The Facilities Engineer is responsible for plant equipment and building maintenance as well as project planning and implementation, plant equipment layouts, and troubleshooting equipment problems for assigned plants within one or more facilities.
