The preferred candidate for this position will have an associate’s degree or technical certification in instrumentation, electronics, or a related field; have a minimum of one to three years of experience in the paper or corrugated packaging industry; have familiarity with instrumentation and control valves, including pneumatic, analog, discrete, and digital; and be proficient in the use of testing and calibration tools. The successful candidate will have high technical competence and analytical ability, be able to identify significant problems and opportunities, communicate effectively, seek out and sieze opportunities, go beyond the normal call-of-duty, find ways to surmount barriers, be resourceful and action-oriented, and show bias for action (can-do and do-it-now attitude).
