The Heavy Equipment Mechanic is personally responsible for performing complex preventative maintenance tasks, and troubleshoots and repairs a wide variety of operational equipment (Trucks and Yellow Iron).

Environmental:

• Exposure to dust, smoke, fumes, odors, grease, oil, chemicals, wet slippery surfaces, hot/cold conditions, & noise continuously.

NOTE: Ensure your work history clearly details qualifying experience, including your experience in receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing uniforms, equipment, and supplies; experience inspecting and repairing fire equipment; specific purchasing duties; experience with a computerized inventory and purchasing system; and the computer programs/software you utilize to perform your related duties. Must meet one of the following options: Option 1:One (1) year of experience equivalent to a Fire Equipment Technician I, which includes gathering price quotes, ordering supplies, and receiving, storing, issuing, and inventorying supplies and materials in a fire agency warehouse.

Food Equipment: Combi ovens, deli slicers, auto meat cutters, fryers, hot cases, ice makers, pizza ovens, rotisserie ovens, thermoglazers, donut cases, four bowl warmers, bakery ovens, bread slicers, tortilla makers. • Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets by utilizing multiple craft skills (for example, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment) and using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs .

• Repair of pool pumps, heaters, filters, timers, pool cleaners, blowers, lights, automated pool systems, chlorinators, backwash valves, PVC plumbing, copper plumbing, and galvanized plumbing.
