Equipment Technician Jobs in Corona, CA

Each day, you'll work on all makes and models of material handling and construction equipment, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of systems including electric forklift systems, LPG and diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, carburetors, electrical and air systems, final drives, clutches, and more. You'll be out in the field delivering expert service, performing high-quality repairs and maintenance on cutting-edge equipment, and building trusted relationships with customers who rely on your skill and professionalism to keep their operations moving.

The Heavy Equipment Mechanic is personally responsible for performing complex preventative maintenance tasks, and troubleshoots and repairs a wide variety of operational equipment (Trucks and Yellow Iron).

Environmental:

• Exposure to dust, smoke, fumes, odors, grease, oil, chemicals, wet slippery surfaces, hot/cold conditions, & noise continuously.

NOTE: Ensure your work history clearly details qualifying experience, including your experience in receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing uniforms, equipment, and supplies; experience inspecting and repairing fire equipment; specific purchasing duties; experience with a computerized inventory and purchasing system; and the computer programs/software you utilize to perform your related duties. Must meet one of the following options: Option 1:One (1) year of experience equivalent to a Fire Equipment Technician I, which includes gathering price quotes, ordering supplies, and receiving, storing, issuing, and inventorying supplies and materials in a fire agency warehouse.
