Collaborates with Rockingham County Apprenticeship & Technical Opportunity Partnership (RockATOP) Consortium to facilitate youth apprenticeships, including assistance with meeting minutes, planning and implementing apprenticeship events, website and social media assistance, oversight of RockATOP Intern as well as other pre-apprenticeship and internship businesses and organizations.
The Apprenticeship Specialist actively engages with community and industry partners, local school systems, to build and maintain strong relationships, identify workforce needs, and support the development and expansion of apprenticeship and work-based learning opportunities.
