Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in-person and online across the child development and education curriculum, including courses with field-based experiences at the Boone campus and connected field-based sites; Teach, mentor, and collaborate with students, in-service teachers/practitioners, and doctoral students; Actively engage in scholarly work; Actively engage with teachers and students in our laboratory school and clinical settings (Academy at Middle Fork; Lucy Brock Child Development Lab, Anderson Reading Clinic) and/or other field-based sites; Maintain a visible presence on campus; Engage in service to the program, department, college, university, and profession; Collaborate with colleagues in the program, department, and university; Serve on and chair doctoral committees. The college seeks to provide a well-balanced program of classroom and clinical experiences while maintaining a cooperative, forward-thinking posture, with emphasis on excellence in teaching, learning, research, scholarship, and outreach.
