NewDirector of Athletic Equipment and Merchandise Operations University Of Arkansas SystemDirector of Athletic Equipment and Merchandise OperationsLittle Rock, ARManage the daily operations of the equipment room; Monitor the maintenance needs of equipment room machinery and schedule repairs as needed; Coordinate with internal and external constituents regarding equipment operations; Establish and implement departmental protocols to maintain an accurate inventory system; Manage team store operations, including locating items, processing transactions at the register, and visual merchandising; Assist in event set ups and breakdowns for home athletic event; Operation of the Trojan Armory for all home Men's and Women's basketball games. Current Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA) certification, or successful acquisition of certification within 12 months from date of hire; Demonstrated experience managing budgets and conducting equipment forecasting across multiple sport programs; Experience with institutional apparel vendor contracts and multi-sport ordering processes preferred.
