This leadership position oversees the organization, development, supervision, and performance of therapy operations across rehabilitation services. The Director will combine clinical leadership, operational management, regulatory oversight, financial planning, staff development, and direct patient care while helping ensure high-quality rehabilitation services.

Job DetailsThe Director of Therapy Operations will lead the hospital's rehabilitation therapy function, overseeing clinical operations, staff performance, regulatory compliance, program development, financial planning, and delivery of patient care.
- Lead the organization, development, and supervision of hospital therapy operations
- Develop, revise, implement, and communicate therapy policies, processes, and procedures
- Establish performance expectations and hold staff accountable for assigned responsibilities
- Monitor state, federal, professional, reimbursement, documentation, and regulatory requirements affecting therapy operations
- Educate staff on changes in regulatory, reimbursement, documentation, and professional standards
- Advise hospital leadership regarding resources and operational needs required for effective therapy services
- Use historical performance and market data to forecast therapy revenues and expenses and support operational planning
- Develop relationships with educational institutions and support clinical affiliation programs
- Collaborate with marketing and community stakeholders on education related to rehabilitation awareness, prevention, and treatment
- Maintain an appropriate level of direct patient care
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current Arkansas license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited therapy program
- Minimum of five years of rehabilitation experience
- Minimum of two years of rehabilitation management experience
- BLS/CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's or doctoral degree in a clinical or management-related field preferred
