p>Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience): The knowledge, skills, and abilities of this position are normally attained through a combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in business or public administration, accounting, finance, or a related field, and 10 years of progressively responsible related experience, including 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
The deputy director cultivates and maintains liaison relationships with other departments, directors, elected officials, representatives of organizations, conservation groups, and environmental advocacy organizations to ensure the department is working in a coordinated and cooperative manner with other entities of the state and federal government while carrying out program activities.
