ul>Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in multiple facility systems and areas to include: Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Life Safety, and Building Monitoring and Control.- Mechanical areas of responsibility include: data center cooling solutions, to include chilled water systems and components, various HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems such as roof top units, split units, DX compressors, CRAC (computer room air conditioning) & CRAH (computer room air handling) units, and humidification systems, as well as Kyoto Cooling roof top units, if so equipped.
- Desired but not required: Entry level knowledge of information technology (IT), the electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center environment, including, but not limited to the following: electrical distribution and layout, transformers, PLC's, Generators, Switchgear, UPS systems, STS', ATS' PDU's, Chilled Water Systems, CRAC/CRAH's, Pre-Action Sprinkler Systems.
