The primary function/focus of your position and your major duties and responsibilities; E. Describe your experience(s) in detail as it relates to substance abuse treatment services in each of the following functional areas: Professional evaluation of clients, including your substance abuse evaluation/assessment criteria; Formulation/implementation of individualized treatment plans and services, including the kinds of plans and services you provided for alcohol and/or drug use intervention, complexity of your cases, and your specific role in the process and with a multidisciplinary team; Substance abuse counseling including how you addressed psychosocial problems and clients needs; Other relevant duties, including educational sessions to clients in an alcohol or drug/treatment program, and other rehabilitative services. The Substance Abuse Specialist III serves as a member of a multi-disciplinary team comprised of certified or licensed practitioners, social workers, and/or other public or private rehabilitative employees, groups or agencies collaborating on multi-disciplinary assessment, development and implementation, and evaluation of individualized treatment plans aimed at helping users overcome their alcohol and/or substance use; independently conducts a variety of educational, treatment and therapeutic related classes; and participates in the development, evaluation, and modification of program policies and procedures, treatment approaches, and development and modification of substance abuse treatment education and related therapeutic classes and curriculum.
