p>What we are looking for: Bachelors degree in Agronomy or related field, or minimum 3 years of agronomy/agronomy sales experience Knowledge of soil fertility, fertilizer and chemical properties, seed traits, crop life cycles, and agricultural chemistry Proficient with Microsoft Office, internet-based programs, and agronomy software Ability to operate company vehicles, forklifts, skid-loaders, blending systems, and hand tools Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to speak effectively one-on-one and in group settings Basic math skills including algebra, geometry, proportions, percentages, and volume Preferred: CDL Class B with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, forklift certification, and current CCA license Ability to travel within the trade territory.
Finalize sales of the whole-farm philosophy including products and services Grow and maintain the agronomy customer base; maintain field presence from planting through harvest Promote cooperative business and marketing plans set forth by the VP of Agronomy Proactively implement prepayment plans for seed, fertilizer, chemicals, and services; coordinate with accounting to finalize billing arrangements Resolve billing or contractual disputes as needed.
