The Counselor will be responsible for the call management process, including but not limited to: • Call sheet completion and data entry • Review of initial clinical and medical documentation • Determining financial eligibility for referral acceptance • Conducting initial psychiatric or chemical dependency assessments • Providing crisis intervention • Professional advice and assistance with disposition of a psychiatric or CD problem or situation • Completing initial insurance authorization upon admission with all associated insurance providers • Accurate bed board management • Providing referral case management for referrals requiring least restrictive services • Following the admissions process, including but not limited to: • Patient wanding and searches • Obtaining vitals • Consents • Completing patient inventory.
