This position will work directly with the Senior Substation Estimator, Project Managers, Engineers, and Construction Managers to develop construction cost estimates, support procurement activities, maintain cost databases, review contractor pricing, and assist with project forecasting and financial management. This role is ideal for a developing estimator with utility, industrial, heavy civil, electrical, or construction experience who is looking to build expertise in transmission and substation infrastructure projects.

Cost Engineer / Estimator

This position will serve as the lead estimating resource within integrated project delivery teams and will be responsible for developing project cost estimates, evaluating contractor proposals, supporting procurement activities, reviewing change orders, and providing project cost forecasting throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will have extensive experience estimating high-voltage transmission and substation projects and possess a strong understanding of utility construction means, methods, costs, and contracting strategies.

In addition, the project controls manager will have a client facing role, meeting regularly with the owners site based project managers and the owners project controls manager when he or she visits site for financial reviews.
