p>Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field • EIT certification • 3+ years of related experience in roadway/highway drainage design • Proficiency with CAD and related engineering software • Experience with MicroStatio or AutoCAD Civil 3D • Experience with a combination of hydraulic/hydrologic modeling tools, such as: • HEC-RAS • HEC-HMS • HY-8 • Bentley InRoads Storm & Sanitary • Bentley StormCAD • Aquaveo Watershed Modeling System (WMS) • NRCS WinTR-55 • Bentley FlowMaster • FHWA Hydraulic Toolbox • EPA SWMM (Storm Water Management Model).
Preferred Qualifications:
• PE license in any U.S. state highly preferred • Direct experience on state DOT transportation projects • Experience with: • Highway and roadway drainage systems (inlets, storm sewers, channels, culverts, detention/retention, etc.) • Drainage systems design for land development projects • Obtaining canal and stormwater permits.
