JOB DESCRIPTION: This position performs advanced level work under the limited supervision of the is responsible for performing duties to maintain, analyze, and reconcile property items purchased by the Department of Education and Chapter 1-Mirgrant Education Program in accordance with Chapter 273, Florida Statutes, the rules of the Auditor General, Chapter 10.300 - State -owned Tangible Personal Property for guidance in property control, and the FLAIR (Florida Accounting Information Resources) Property System Manual. Serving approximately 3 million students, 4,400 public schools, 28 colleges, 200,000 instructional staff, 46,000 college professors and administrators, and 340,000 full-time staff throughout the state, FDOE enhances programs and services for Florida's students from early learning through college and career development.
