Reviews existing facilities; ensures mechanical system operations meet requirement and specifications; meets with department heads to define user's needs; identifies building and facility maintenance needs; coordinates the replacement of existing mechanical and electrical equipment; develops preventative maintenance schedules; meets throughout project design phases with mechanical consultants to review HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other related systems; provides advice regarding the development of mechanical systems; ensure specified mechanical system design meets county requirements; serves as owners representative; reviews contractor's submissions; ensures installations conform to specifications.
