Working closely with other team members, departments and units, this role will develop place-based learning efforts, classroom engagements, teacher trainings, educational materials, and manage administrative support on community events and other Education & Engagement programming to address the Sea Grant priority of advancing environmental literacy and workforce development. This includes initiatives like Ocean Commotion, Adopt-a-Pond, Native Fish in the Classroom, and Wetland Days; Event coordination includes communicating with schools, working with education partners, event set-up and break-down, content delivery, assisting with evaluation, etc.
