The Contracts Specialist manages the planning, set‑up, execution, and close‑out of contracts across their full lifecycle, including developing and recommending contract strategies (such as compensation models and market approaches), planning and executing Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, assisting in the evaluation of proposals, negotiating agreements, recommending contract awards, conforming contracts for execution, administering contracts (including payment and commercial claims), implementing change management, and closing contracts. This role requires close collaboration with the Teck American Incorporated's Lands and Legal departments, Site Manager, Closure and Site Manager, U.S. Dormant Properties, operations and maintenance teams, technical teams, and corporate shared services (legal, risk, customs and trade compliance, etc.).
