Working under the guidance of senior estimators and project managers, the Estimator I performs quantity takeoffs, solicits subcontractor and supplier pricing, develops scopes, crews, equipment, and production rates, and builds estimates within HeavyBid.
Youll take ownership from preconstruction through completion, leading projects across dredging, commercial diving, and other marine work while working closely with field crews, clients, and internal teams. Manages billing with Project Coordinators to ensure accuracy of invoicing, preparation of payables, accounts receivable collections, approval of accounts payable in a timely manner and management of over/under billing monthly.
