Season runs approximately March-NovKey duties include:Responsible for assisting the overall daily operation of a hot-mix asphalt plant with computerized Systems equipment. Duties include plant set-up and tear down, receipt and shipment of raw materials and asphalt products, manufacturing asphalt products, lab testing, inspection and record keeping and maintenance of the equipment in the plant. Must be willing to meet and follow all safety and company policy/procedure requirements. A valid driver’s license is necessary to drive company vehicles and equipment.Wages: $31.40-$34.40 per hour(DOE) plus $17.99+ per hour fringe (covers Health insurance premiums, life insurance & Pension).Education and/or Experience:High School diploma or equivalent required. Must possess at least two years of maintenance/repair at an asphalt plant. Previous experience operating as asphalt plant desired. Good mechanical repair skills, math skills and communication skills are necessary. Must have the ability to work in confined spaces. You'll operate daily on a forklift and use other plant machinery and equipment as needed.
