WHAT YOU'LL DO: Serve as a department resource to analyze, research, accurately calculate and timely process aid, including Title IV financial aid, state grants, Tribal funding, scholarships, and other types of financial aid as needed, for a single functional area (Pre-Certification, Award & Package, Disbursements, and Refunds), ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal guidelines, as well as internal policies and procedures; ensure accuracy and timely processing of all work. A Financial Aid Officer (FAO) I performs a variety of clerical and administrative activities for a single function (such as Pre-Certification/Validation, Award & Package (including Non-Federal Resource (NFR) functions), Refunds, and Disbursements) to process federal, state and other types of financial aid for University of Phoenix students.
