Key Responsibilities Manage a designated portfolio of commercial insurance accounts and serve as the primary day-to-day client contact Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients Partner with Producers on account strategy, renewals, new business, and client retention Coordinate the full renewal process, including gathering exposure information, preparing submissions, obtaining quotes, and reviewing coverage options Prepare proposals, applications, certificates, policies, endorsements, and other client documentation Review policies and coverage to ensure accuracy and alignment with client needs Process endorsements, policy changes, cancellations, audits, and other servicing requests Respond promptly and professionally to client questions and requests Work directly with insurance carriers and underwriters to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and resolve issues Identify coverage gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for additional coverage Coordinate claims-related inquiries and serve as a liaison between clients and carriers when needed Monitor account activity, renewal timelines, and outstanding requirements Ensure all account documentation and agency management system records are accurate and up to date Assist with premium financing, billing questions, certificates, and other account servicing needs Maintain a high level of client satisfaction and proactively anticipate client needs Support business retention and growth through exceptional client service Ensure compliance with agency procedures, carrier requirements, and applicable insurance regulations Qualifications 3+ years of commercial insurance account management experience Experience working within an insurance brokerage or agency environment preferred Strong knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance products Experience managing commercial accounts through the renewal lifecycle Familiarity with commercial lines such as General Liability, Property, Auto, Workers' Compensation, Umbrella/Excess, and other specialty coverages Strong understanding of policy language, coverage structures, endorsements, and certificates of insurance Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
