Job Responsibilities and Requirements:.
Licensure by applicable state requirements; Certified as a Social Worker (CSW), Certified Advanced Practice Social Worker (APSW), Certified Independent Social Worker (CISW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services is required. APSW or CISW personnel, following 3,000 hours of clinical social work practice including at least 1,000 hours of face-to-face contact supervised by a person meeting board requirements, may apply for licensure at the LCSW level.

ul>Provides psychosocial assessments while helping patients understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and potential side effects, and empowers patients and caregivers with appropriate coping strategies. FTE member of the clinic's interdisciplinary team, assists patients and their families in addressing both the emotional and practical challenges associated with acute, chronic, or life-limiting illnesses.
