Monitor all applications of unwind materials and component substrates, splicing procedure with glass, paper, and mixed substrates, tensions, adjustments, accumulator rack operations and thread-up procedures to ensure proper materials meet quality specifications. Ensures a safe work environment through strict adherence to OCs safety policies and procedures while producing and running the Unwind with controlled power and speed, quality activities and communication with facer backer, coater operators and supervisor as needed.
