The hire must have strong and demonstrated organization and project management skills, strong communications skills (verbal, writing, and visual presentation), ability to handle a high level of responsibility, demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as a member of a collaborative team, and the ability to communicate effectively and enthusiastically with a broad range of project stakeholders, including children and youth, city officials, members of the business community, low-income communities, and civic and political leaders. Desired qualifications include experience with project management, education, curriculum development, organizing for environmental and/or social justice causes, website management, photography and graphic design, advanced computer skills, and experience troubleshooting hardware and software.
