As a Revenue Cycle Analyst, you'll be responsible for assessing current revenue cycle processes and workflows; identifying areas for efficiency and effectiveness enhancements, collaborating with teams (e.g., registration, billing, charging, coding, collections, and denials management) to streamline processes, reduce and recover denials, and optimize cash flow; and analyzing and monitoring revenue cycle metrics to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Revenue Cycle Analysts supporting Patient Access functions are responsible for enhancing patient access processes within the UHS Acute Care Division by ensuring efficient, accurate, and patient-focused service through data analysis, system troubleshooting, and process improvement within scheduling, pre-registration, registration, insurance verification, and financial counseling.
