p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assist the head coach as directed with the following: • Organize and direct coaching staff • Collecting physical examination forms • Collecting insurance release forms • Reporting injuries to school nurse • Taking inventory and submitting a list of equipment needs • Checking out and collecting all equipment • Keeping accurate records and reports of lost or stolen equipment • Providing a roster of players • Providing the Athletic Director a list of athletes who are to receive awards at the end of the season and plan the awards ceremony • Insuring proper team conduct on trips and during contests • Knowing all rules pertaining to his or her sport • Treating of injuries or attending to athletes • Cleaning and Maintenance of equipment and uniforms • Organizing practice sessions.
