Communicates traffic alerts to emergency services, other stakeholders, County administrators, department management, and the traveling public: identifies, locates, and reports accidents in a timely manner; provides detailed information regarding construction, accidents, traffic delays, detours, and other events; and utilizes changeable message signs, Traffic Watch, Twitter, website, and other subscriber services. Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Systems Engineering, Communications, or related field required; supplemented by three years experience working with automated traffic control and traffic monitoring systems; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
