Education / License: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Psychology, Marriage and Family therapy, Community Agency Counseling, Addictions, Psychology, Social Work, or other closely related field of study with coursework or experience in the areas of cultural diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of mental illness, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, suicide, and intellectual disability. Ability to demonstrate compassion, apply screening, assessment, intake and other related substance use treatment counseling skills with all variety of populations served including criminal justice involved and potential court-ordered and/or high-profile individuals.
