Regulatory Compliance & Quality Improvement: Monitors staff adherence to clinical protocols related to resident assessment and care planning Assists with clinical record audits and follow-up Responsible for specific QI clinical indicators and reports to the QI Committee May attend meetings to include but not limited to: Risk Meeting, Care Conferences, PDPM Huddle, Weight/Nutrition, GDR/Psychotropic Stewardship, RN. The CNPS responsibilities include assisting the Director of Nursing (DON) in mentoring and onboarding registered nurses, new admission assessments and adherence to clinical programs and protocols.
