The Registered Dietitian plans, delivers and directs Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to outpatient surgical and medical weight loss patients in accordance with allied health professional’s diagnoses, while complying with the requirements of regulatory agencies. The dietitian functions as a member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate nutritional care plans for the metabolic and bariatric patient.
Candidates must have knowledge of working with modified food consistencies including tube feedings, the ability to provide clear and effective verbal and written communication, and willingness to provide staff training routinely and as needed. Register Dietitian to work with Adult Intellectually Disabled population.
