Qualifications Minimum Education: Required: Masters Degree in Psychology, Counseling or related field Preferred: Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: Five years experience in the field of mental health Preferred: License, Registry or Certification: Required: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist Preferred: Supervisory certification from the appropriate licensing board Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required: Knowledge of clinical techniques, supervisory skills, basic financial/fiscal information, DSM-5, De-escalation Techniques, Crisis management techniques Clinician demonstrates knowledge of evidenced based practices in the provision of care included but not limited to: Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Universal Screening for SUD. Primary Position Responsibilities 1.Provides direct care services, group therapy, individual counseling, initial assessment 2.Provides clinical supervision to clinical staff 3.Maintains statistics on all clinical functions of department.
