The role also has oversight responsibility for personal property tax, sales and use tax, and supports other compliance functions and initiatives throughout the organization This is an ideal opportunity for a tax professional ready to transition from compliance preparation into a management and oversight capacity, leveraging outside specialists for technical execution while building the internal judgment to direct and review their work. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, this role manages the flow of information between the core accounting team and external tax preparers, oversees the GAAP tax provision process, and ensures timely, accurate federal and state compliance across Goosehead's UP-C structure.
