Serves within multidisciplinary team to provide clinical psychosocial services for patients in the UAMS Cancer Service Line to include: initial psychosocial assessment with new patients; ongoing psychosocial assessment as needed during treatment process and beyond; development of treatment plans/interventions that are documented in the EMR; response to emotional components of illness, including adjustment to illness and grief counseling, psychotherapy (individual, couples, family, children), and crisis intervention.

The Compliance Specialist must meet the requirements to be an Early Childhood Developmental Specialist (ECDS) and may assist in ensuring all required classroom documentation is timely and accurate, including the Individualized Treatment Plan.
