Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing and posting journal entries under the guidance of senior accounting staff.
- Perform basic account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Enter financial data into accounting software accurately.
- Process employee expense reports and reimbursements.
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
- Support month-end and year-end close by preparing schedules and maintaining documentation.
- Maintain accurate financial records and organize supporting documentation.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and spreadsheets for management.
- Help identify and resolve routine accounting issues.
- Perform general administrative duties to support the finance team.
Experience:
- 1-4 years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related experience.
- Entry-level accounting experience is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary Range: $55,000-$75,000
