Schedule: Four 10-hour clinical daytime shifts/week On-call requirement during non-routine working hours to assist attending physicians in urgent and emergency procedures Responsibilities: Assist cardiothoracic surgeons during surgical procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair/replacement, and other complex cardiac surgeries Perform tissue handling including making incisions, retracting, dissecting, tying, ligating, stapling, suturing and providing hemostasis Perform chest closure, including chest wires when indicated.
