p>Responsibilities for the Chief of Clinical Operations:

• Clinical Services and Continuity of Care - Directly supervise all Center Clinic Directors; Community Programs Coordinator; Emergency and Community Services Supervisor and Child and Adolescent Coordinator/Liaison.

  As the Chief of Clinical Operations, under limited supervision of the Executive Director, you will plan, implement, coordinate and supervise Clinic Directors, Community Programs Coordinator, Child, Adolescent and Families (CAF) /Liaison /Coordinator.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required • Planning, organization, prioritization and time-management skills • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, to include presentation skills • Ability to work with others in a team environment and to communicate in laymen's terms at all levels of the organization • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time • Strong customer service skills and follow-up skills • Strong analytical and quantitative skills • Leadership skills • Team-building and motivational skills • Research and teaching skills • Change management and demonstrated problem-solving skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) preferred • Working knowledge of systems/applications in hospital databases and web-based databases. Physical Demands: • Being in a stationary position for extended periods of time (4 hours or more) • Viewing computer screen for extended periods of time (4 hours or more) • Keying frequently on a computer for 4 hours or more • Moving about • Close, distance and peripheral vision • Reading • Communicating • Writing • Lifting/moving items up to 20 pounds • Lifting/moving items up to 75 pounds with equipment assistance • Pushing/pulling • Bending/stooping • Reaching/grasping/touching with hands • Traveling distances (car, airplane, etc.).

This includes managing client scheduling, handling billing and insurance tasks, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the clinical staff. Provide daily updates to Executives, Operations Manager, and Teammates, ensuring all relevant clinic information is communicated promptly.

The Labor & Delivery unit operates 12 beds with 4 overflow beds, 3 ORs, 2 triage beds, and a 4-bed PACU, supporting approximately 300 births per month and around 3,500 annually. This leader is responsible for the day-to-day planning, organizing, staffing, and operational direction of the unit, ensuring safe and effective care delivery across a high-volume service line.

Working collaboratively with the leadership team, this role plays a key part in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and operational plans that support safe, patient-centered care. The RN Manager of Labor & Delivery is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, and directing unit operations to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient department performance.
