This exciting role is a fast-paced healthcare provider support role, intended to foster a positive provider experience by leading a team with the responsibility of performing contract loads, demographic updates and batch provider loads. The Senior Manager, Provider Data Services role requires the ability to demonstrate independent judgement and authority while commonly setting direction and leading through ambiguous situations.
The Senior Provider Behavioral Health Consultant (LPC-S or LCSW-S) will provide consultation services to providers, such as pediatricians, family medicine physicians, OB/GYN physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and/or midwives needing assistance with patient behavioral health concerns, psychiatric consultation, behavioral management plans, or resources with the goal of increasing access to mental health services for mothers, children, and adolescents. The Child Psychiatry Access Network (CPAN) and the Perinatal Psychiatry Access Network (PeriPAN) are an interdisciplinary clinical services program intended to offer primary care clinic providers and OBGYNs prompt access to on-call psychiatrists to provide expertise in assessment, treatment, and referrals for pediatric and/or perinatal patients identified as having a mental health challenge.
ul>At least 5 years of experience in network contracting with large specialty or multispecialty provider groups, and at least 3 years experience in provider contract negotiations in a managed health care setting ideally negotiating different provider contract types (i.e. physician/group/hospital), or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. In conjunction with contracting leadership, negotiates complex provider contracts including high-priority physician group and facility contracts using preferred, acceptable, discouraged, unacceptable (PADU) guidelines (emphasis on number or percentage of membership in value-based relationship contracts).
