PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: Event development and primary contact for all events prior to fulfillment Forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for programs; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand Responsible for negotiating contractual agreements, event tracking processes, and database Responsible for communication of event details, projections, timelines, marketing objectives Accomplishes objectives by planning, developing, implementing, evaluating programs and developing field sales action plans Maintain membership database, helping ensure best-in-class member experiences and plan member-only events Sustains rapport with key accounts by maintaining regular communication, making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Serve as Manager-On-Duty ("MOD") when needed Participation in planning/strategic meetings Work with finance department to track and report profitability Development of operational Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports All other duties as assigned by management MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in hospitality, event planning, or related field preferred 3-5 years appropriate sales experience required Experience in contract negotiations, event creation, and planning preferred Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and negotiating skills Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Must have strong organizational skills Must have excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
